FREDERICK J. SIMPSON
GUILFORD- Frederick J. Simpson, 83, died November 26, 2011, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born January 1, 1928, in Corinna, son of Herman and Hannah (Crossman) Simpson.

He served in the US Air Force during WWII, and retired in 1990 as a heavy equipment operator for the State of Florida. In 1992, he and his wife moved to Maine where he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane (Bennett) Simpson of Guilford; a son, Jeffrey Simpson of Florida; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
