GENEVA E. AMES
GUILFORD AND LEWISTON, Geneva E. Ames, 85, died December 18, 2002 at a Lewiston nursing home. She was born in Sangerville, June 3, 1917, daughter of James and Mary (Holbrook) Moulton. She worked as a spinner for Guilford Woolen Mill for 22 years and later worked for several years for Hardwood Products Company in Guilford. After her retirement she and her husband enjoyed 18 winters in Florida. Geneva was a member of many organizations including the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekahs, Grange, Pomona Grange, National Grange and the Guilford Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Ames of Lewiston; two sons and their wives, John and Darlene Ames of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania and Thomas and Nancy Ames of Jewett City, Connecticut; two daughters and their husbands, Mary and David Colman of Lansing, Michigan and Sally and Dana Clark of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 1:30 to 3 PM at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street, Guilford, where funeral services will follow at 3 PM. Spring burial will be in the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford.
