ST. ALBANS – Genevieve Page, 93, died January 5, 2012 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born August 2, 1918 in Island Falls, a daughter of Thane and Maude (Downs) Clifford. She was an 80 year resident of St. Albans and will be remembered for loving everybody and giving lots of hugs. She attended Grace Linn Memorial United Methodist Church in Hartland and was a member of the Chatterbox Club. Genevieve’s favorite past time was singing, especially all of the old hymns.

She is survived by 3 sons, Wayne and wife Ellen Weeks of Oakland, Earle and wife Sharon Weeks, and Dean and wife Jane Weeks, all of St. Albans; a step daughter, Jana Brown of Newport; 1 brother, Thane “Dusty” and wife Geneva Clifford of Parkman; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, John Weeks; her second husband, Lloyd Page; a sister, Doris Tarr; and a great grandson, Joseph Heim.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 9th, at Grace Linn Memorial United Methodist Church, with Pastor James Boughman officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of services. Spring burial will be in the Crocker Cemetery, St. Albans. Memorial donations may be made to the Grace Linn Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 663, Hartland, ME 04943.
