GEORGE E. PLOURDE
GREENVILLE- George E. Plourde, Sr., 71, died July 17, 2011, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born October 1, 1939, in Stockholm, son of Joseph and Marie (Borgoin) Plourde.

George was employed by Scott Paper Company for many years. Following retirement he and his wife enjoyed winters in Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeannine (Boucher) Plourde of Greenville; 2 sons, George Plourde Jr. and his wife, Deirdre of MA, and James Plourde and his wife, Kim of Gorham; 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Emma, Owen, Eric, and Sarah; 4 sisters, Pearl, Patsy, Linda, and Doris; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville with Fr. Rob Reagan, celebrant. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Furnace Fund, c/o Holy Family Catholic Church, P.O. Box 457, Greenville, ME 04441.
