GEORGE W. FAIRFIELD JR.
GUILFORD, George W. Fairfield Jr., beloved father and friend, died April 23, 2005, at his son’s home in Guilford, with family and friends at his side. George was born January 26, 1925, in Bingham. He was predeceased by Beverly, his wife of over 53 years, in 1999.

“Pappy” is survived by his two sons, Skip and his wife, Cindy of Greenville, Robin and his wife, Marge of San Diego, California; six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, brothers; brothers-in-law; sisters, and sisters-in-law, and hundreds of friends, none more special than Millie Porter of Southwest Harbor.

A memorial service will be held at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Augusta, Friday May 6, 2005, promptly at 11:00 AM. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
