GERALD L. HERRICK JR
ST.ALBANS- Gerald L. Herrick Jr., 51, died unexpectedly, August 12, 2011, at his home in St. Albans. He was born March 25, 1960, in Dover-Foxcroft, son of Gerald and Mary (Thompson) Herrick Sr.

He graduated from Dexter High School class of 1978, and the Maine Maritime Academy class of 1983. He worked as an electrical engineer and traveled extensively around the world setting up and working on power plants in over 23 different countries. At the time of his death he had been working for Bucksport Energy.

He is survived by his parents of Dexter; 2 sisters, Lauri Herrick of Dexter, and Cathy Hartley and her husband , Gerald and their son, Aaron, all of Freedom; aunts and uncles; and his constant companion, his dog, Ava.
