GERTRUDE "TRUDY" AMBROSE
CAMBRIDGE—Gertrude “Trudy” Ambrose, 71, died September 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1940 in Hamden, CT, a daughter of Lester and Virginia (Kammerer) Ambrose. She was a member of the Cambridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by life-long friends, Ray and Louise Cogswell of Cambridge, with whom she made her home; a brother, Lester Ambrose of Bowdoinham; a sister, Christine Lalla of Brunswick; 2 nephews, Donald Ambrose of KY and Lester Ambrose of Brunswick; 2 nieces, Gayle Hulesbeck of Bowdoin and Brenda Hires of FL.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 1st, at the Cambridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Inman officiating.
