EXETER & GARLAND—Harold L. Henderson, Sr., 82, died October 8, 2013 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born April 30, 1931 in Exeter, a son of Millard and Elila (Rockwell) Henderson. He attended Exeter schools, and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Harold had been employed as a cutter at the Dexter Shoe Company.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances (Feeney) Scott Henderson of Garland; 2 sons, Harold Henderson, Jr. of Bangor and John and wife Rileyjo Henderson of Skowhegan; a sister, Stella and husband Perley Curtis of Exeter; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren; 2 aunts, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Robert Henderson and a sister, Margaret Andrews.

Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, October 19th at Morses Corner Baptist Church, Corinna, with Pastor Michael Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in the Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Memorial donations may be made to the Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, 4 White Road, Corinna, ME 04928.
