HELEN PLUMMER
EXETER – Helen Plummer, 76, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, at a Brewer nursing home. She was born March 11, 1935 in Exeter, a daughter of Hattie (Curtis) and Pearl Pushor. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy, Class of 1953. Helen worked several years in shoe factories in Bangor and Old Town. She liked quilting and making dolls. She was predeceased by her husband Francis Plummer, and a brother Robert Curtis.

Helen is survived by a step daughter, Robin Tardy and her husband Jim of LaGrange; 3 sisters, Beverly Dauber and husband Wayne of California, Arlene Mooers and Lilla Demmons, both of Exeter; 1 brother, David Curtis and wife Bobbie of Florida; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 24th, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where friends may call from 10 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Chamberlain Cemetery, Exeter. Memorial donations may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mt. Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401.
