HERVE J. BUSQUE
GREENVILLE, Herve J. Busque, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, has gone home to fish the big lake. Herve, 79, passed away, January 10, 2003 at the Jackman Health Center from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in St. Benoit L’Arbre, Quebec, Canada on May 12, 1923 to Joseph and Arthemise (Poulin) Busque. Herve was an avid outdoorsman, going fishing and hunting every chance he got after his retirement. He first came to Maine from Canada, working in the woods. He moved his family to Greenville in January, 1957. He worked for several years at the Scott Paper Company, before starting his own very successful business, Herve Busque, Inc. Woods Broker. He became a well-known woods contractor in Maine and Quebec. Herve was a communicant and usher at Holy Family Catholic Church, where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Herve is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Louisette (Cliché) Busque; children, Ghislain of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Marcel of Monson, Martine Richards and her husband, James of Charlotte, Vermont, Peter and his wife, Michelle of Windham, Mary Fowle and her husband, James of Greenville; grandchildren, Kevin Busque and his wife, Leah; Danielle, Joseph and Patricia Busque; Michelle (Richards) Peters and her husband, Jonathan; James, Kimberly, David, Jennifer and Elizabeth Richards; Peter, Shelby, Shannon and Nicholas Busque; Christopher and Emily Fowle; a brother, Donat Busque; sisters, Jeanne D’arc, Claire, Rosa, Jeannine, Jeannette, Jacqueline; special nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Herve was predeceased by brothers, Raoul, Heleodore (Leo); twin sister, Marguerite; sisters, Alice, Marie Paule, and a very special grandson, Ryan Busque.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville. At Herve’s request a time for visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Graveside committal services will be held 10 AM, Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at the Greenville Cemetery. The extended Busque family would like to thank Papa’s second family, the doctors, nurses and caregivers for the care and respect given to our dad during his stay at the nursing home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Herve’s memory to the Jackman Health Center Nursing Home, 376 Main St., Jackman, ME 04945. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
