Howard "Howie" Stanhope, Jr.
GREENVILLE JUNCTION - Howard Malcolm Stanhope, Jr., 47, died March 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1964 in Greenville, a son of Howard and Janet (Ward) Stanhope, Sr. Howie graduated from Greenville High School, Class of 1984. He was an avid skier and enjoyed living in Vermont and Colorado working at various ski resorts. He was currently employed by the C. A. Dean Hospital maintenance department in Greenville. He also enjoyed water skiing, hiking, and riding his motorcycle with his beloved son Howard. He was a devoted father and his son meant the world to him. Howie also loved spending time with his family, friends, and his loyal dog, Miller.

In addition to his parents of Greenville, he is survived by his nine year old son, Howard III of Island Falls; two sisters, Karen and husband Allan Ryder of Lancaster, NH, and Jana Stanhope of Jacksonville, FL; a niece, Katelyn and nephew, Nicholas Ryder, both of Lancaster, NH; Uncle Bill and Aunt Joyce Owens, Uncle Dale and Aunt Brenda Ward, all of Greenville; and numerous cousins.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Crosby & Neal Chapel, located at the Masonic Hall at 281 Pritham Avenue, Greenville. Funeral services will be held at the chapel at 11 AM Saturday, April 7th, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Veon officiating. A spring graveside committal service will be held 1 PM Friday, May 25th at the family lot, Greenville Cemetery.
