ABBOT, Inga Mathilde (Kirk) Knaide, 89, died Sept. 22, 2000 in Burrillville, Rhode Island. She was born March 13, 1911 in Monson, daughter of Harry J. and Petra (Johnsen) Kirk. After graduating from Monson Academy in 1930, she attended Husson College in Bangor. For many years, she worked as a seamstress in the Boston-Cambridge area. She was a long-time resident of Cambridge, Mass., until three years ago when she moved to Glendale, Rhode Island.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia G. Campbell of Glendale, Rhode Island and a son, Charles M. Knaide of Collegeville, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mae E. Race and Zelda Richards of Abbot, and two brothers, Ervin L. Kirk of Abbot and Harland E. Kirk of Edmonds, Washington; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Guilford with burial in the Abbot Village Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 52 Federal St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
