IRVING WINSTON PATTEN
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Irving Winston Patten, loving husband of Gladys M. Patten, died April 14, 2002, at a local nursing home. He was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Milford, N.H., the son of Orion and Bernice (Bills) Patten. He was a dairy farmer by trade and was married to Gladys for 55 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air Corps., during World War II and was a member of the Merrimack NH V.F.W.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; five children, Frank J. Patten of West Virginia, June P. Patten of Virginia, Donald J. Patten of Milo, Ronald W. Patten of Dover-Foxcroft and Peter P. Patten of Atkinson; 14 brothers and sisters, 13 grandchildren, three great-grand-children, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002, at the family lot in Vaughn Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, with Rev. Garrison officiating. Please remit from sending flowers. There will be a reception for family and friends immediately following the service at the home of Peter and Tonya Patten. Arrangements by Pine State Cremation Service.
