ISABELLE B. RYDER
MONSON - Isabelle B. Ryder, 97, wife of the late James F. Ryder, died July 6, 2002, at C.A. Dean Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born Jan. 7, 1905, in Greenville Jct., the daughter of Allen and Martha (Martin) McEachern. "Don't forget to kiss me, dearest, with a gentle little sigh, and tenderly embrace me, if you have to say goodbye, lest you leave me, my beloved, in a deep enchanting dream. Pallid moonlight in the heaven, nevermore for me will dream, and the silver stars above us holding memories of mine, in the silence of the darkness, nevermore for me will shine, and the creamy clouds now drifting in the endless blue above, nevermore will be returning with reflections of your love, don't forget to kiss me, dearest, and my sand heart to enfold, or my tears within the nighttime shall turn ashen gray and cold..." She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Monson.

She is survived by one son, Bruce Ryder of Hartford, Conn.; three daughters, Zelma Stevens of Monson, Dagmar Greenleaf of Monson, and Elena Mace of Bristol, Conn.; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Murray of Greenville; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one grandson, Robert F. Stevens; one great-granddaughter, Heidi Nelson; and 11 brothers and sisters.

There will be a memorial service held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the United Church of Christ in Monson, with the Rev. Ryan Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at the family lot in Greenville Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to C.A. Dean Nursing Home, P.O.
