OBITUARIES

JAMES A RIDLON
RIPLEY- James A Ridlon, 53, died July 16, 2010, following a long battle with cancer and scleroderma. He was born December 19,1956, in Portland, son of Earland and Dorothy (Horne) Ridlon. He graduated from Windham High School, class of 1975, and married Judith Burnham on Oct 22, 1976. He served in the US Army, retiring in 1985. Jim lived in Standish before moving to Ripley in 2003.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; a sister Bonnie, a brother, Bobby and his dear Sadie, who was always by his side till this July. He is survived by his wife, Judy; a nephew, Charlie and his wife, Kathy Bean of Delaware; a niece, Erin and her husband, Dale Freudenberger of N. Carolina; two aunts, many cousins; and his loving dog, Spencer. A special thanks to all our dear friends and family for their prayers and support. A special thanks to his cousin Jayne and husband Bruce Britting.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Pittsfield Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
