JANE L. EATON
EXETER – Jane L. Eaton, 76, beloved wife of Linwood N. Eaton, died unexpectedly April 9, 2004 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born at Exeter, June 12, 1927 a daughter of Preston and Margaret (Brawn) Lougee. She graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1945. On September 12th of that same year, she married her childhood sweetheart, Linwood and they shared 58 loving years together. Jane will be remembered for her love of her family, her joy in cooking and gardening, and her pride and dedication to the family dairy farm.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 5 children, Joseph and wife Sharon Eaton of Exeter, Robert and wife Claudia Eaton of Hingham, MA, Richard, Lois and John Eaton all of Exeter; her cherished grandchildren, Jody, Lois, Robert, Mary Jane, Andria, Sarah, Abigail, Amanda, Justin and Jessica; 3 great grandchildren, Roman, Valerie and TK; a brother, Rodney Lougee of Exeter; a sister, Lula Crisp of Mt. Laurel, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents and 3 siblings, Maxine Crisp, Robert and Clarence Lougee.

Friends may call 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, April 12th at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday with the Rev. David McLeish officiating. Burial will be in the Exeter Center Cemetery.
