JARROD R. HARVEY Surviving in addition to his parents of Glenburn; are his wife, Teresa (Dow) Harvey of Corinth; a son, Tyler Harvey of Corinth and another baby expected in October; one brother, Brandon Harvey of Glenburn; paternal grandparents, Donald and Laura Harvey Sr. of Glenburn; maternal grandparents, Pat and Christine Smith of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Freda; one nephew, Hunter Wain of Orono; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffrey and Kathy Dow Sr.; brother-in-law, J.R. Dow, all of Corinth; maternal grandparents-in-law, John and Glenda Brackett of Bradford and special friends, Billy and Amber, Adam and Tonda, Craig, Bub, Glen, Killinger, Al, and Shane. He was a devoted friend to many others. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2003, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Donald Booker, pastor, Bradford Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Glenburn. CORINTH - Jarrod "Opie" Harvey, 24, died unexpectedly March 28, 2003, in Bangor as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 14, 1978, in Bangor, the son of Donald C. and Nancy A. (Smith) Harvey Jr. He graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1996, and then from University College, Bangor, with a degree in Law Enforcement. Jarrod began working in the family business at Harvey Trailers at a young age. He continued working through high school and after graduation became full time. After working in all phases of the business he became the general manager and a vital part of the company and his Dad's right hand man. He was a fun loving, caring nurturing husband who became devoted to being the best dad he could be. He loved reading books to Tyler, and taking him riding in or on anything with a motor. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, truck pulling, mudding, watching NASCAR and working on his Jeep.
