JOAN L. COLE
DOVER-FOXCROFT & BANGOR - Joan L. Cole, 80, wife of the late Charles E. Cole, died Nov. 8, 2003, in Bangor. She was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Fred and Florence (Pierce) Law. Joan served with the U.S. Marines during World War II.

She is survived by a son, David Cole and wife, Annie, of Bangor; two daughters, Jennifer Matarazzo and husband, James, and Lucinda Archer and husband, Doug, all of Bangor; a brother, Stephen Law of Dover-Foxcroft; two sisters, Annette Page of Georgia, Priscilla Cleaves of Michigan; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, with Rev. Ken Dale officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Lee Cemetery.
