JOHN ALBERT STOREN, SR.
NORTH NEWPORT—John Albert Storen, Sr., 78, died May 6, 2002 at a Bangor hospital. He was born November 9, 1923 at Brooklyn, NY the son of Andrew and Amelia (Ryan) Storen. He served his country during WWII in the Army 920th Field Artillery and was a life member of the VFW. John chose to move to Maine with his wife, Ethel to raise their family. He was employed at the Irving Tannery in Hartland for 25 years. John’s greatest pleasures in life included spending time with his family and friends and outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ethel of North Newport; a daughter, Amy Heegan and her husband, Mike of NY; 6 sons, John Storen, Jr.and his wife, Shari of Etna, Fred Storen of North Newport, James Storen of Bangor, William Storen and his wife, Rhoda of Sebec Village, Andrew Storen of New Mexico, and Edwin Storen of North Newport; 11 grandchildren;17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Thursday, May 9th at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport withPastor Al H. Worden officiating. Burial will be private.
