JOHN "PAT" P. OWENS, SR.
GREENVILLE JUNCTION - John "Pat" P. Owens Sr., 87, died Dec. 15, 2002, at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville Junction. He was born Jan. 12, 1915, in Greenville Jct., the son of William and Margaret (Livingston) Owens. He was employed by Great Northern Paper Co. for more than 30 years. Pat was an enthusiastic volunteer for Meals for ME for many years. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Warman) Owens in 1992; granddaughter, Tracy Lee in 1960; daughter, Nancy in 1962; son, Galen in 1996, brother, Emmett; and sisters, Greta McEvoy and Eliza Connaughton.

Pat is survived by a son, John P. Owens Jr. and his wife, Colleen of Greenville; two daughters, Kathy Hughes and her husband, Jason of Greenville, Marena Schultz and her husband, Richard of Lakeport, N.H.; a daughter-in-law, Margene Owens of Manchester; two sisters, Frances Caron of Greenville and Hattie Parent of Biddeford; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his close friend, Louise Owens of Greenville.

Graveside memorial services to be held at the Greenville Cemetery will be announced by the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House, 654 State St., Bangor, ME 04401.
