JOSEPH M. PULLYARD, SR.
SANGERVILLE, Joseph M. Pullyard, Sr., 86, died August 8, 2005, at his home in Sangerville. He was born February 13, 1919, in Sangerville, the son of Alfred Clukey and Eva Pullyard. Joe served in the US Army during WWII in the Philippines. After the war he worked for Guilford Industries for many years. He was a member of the Stott-Flanders American Legion Post in Sangerville, and was an avid Yankees fan.

He is survived by a son, Charles and his wife, Louise Pullyard of Canada; 2 grandsons, Boyd and Todd; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Pullyard of Sangerville. He will also be missed by many friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Inez (Simmons) Pullyard and a son, Joseph Pullyard Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 12, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville, with military honors.
