JULIA A. ROBERTS
DEXTER & CORINNA—Julia A. Roberts, 85, died November 15, 2006 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born May 26, 1921 at Dexter, a daughter of Joseph and Eva (Sanborn) Atwater. Julia graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1939. She was employed at several Dexter stores and the Dexter Shoe Company, until she retired in 1967. She taught Sunday school at the Dexter United Methodist Church, was a 4-H leader, and was a charter member of the Dexter Jay-C’etts. Julia was predeceased by her husband, Omar W. Roberts, Sr., her parents, 6 sisters and 7 brothers.

She is survived by a daughter and husband, Barbara J. and Anthony Welch of Burke, VA; a son, Omar Roberts, Jr. and his fiancé of Corinna; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews

Graveside services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, December 2nd at the family lot, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Pastor Lois Field officiating.
