JUNE N. TURNER On November 3, 1934 she married Frank H. Turner, and they owned and operated a dairy farm in Palmyra for many years. June also worked as a weaver at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna for many years. She was known for always opening her door to anyone and providing plenty of food for all. She was a loving free- hearted woman who generously shared of herself and her goods with everyone. June was a longtime 4-H leader and was a past member of the Church of the Nazarene in Pittsfield. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, Sr., and sons Stephen and Gene. June is survived by 4 sons, Ernest and wife Virginia, Frank, Jr. and David, all of Palmyra, Milton and wife Jo-Ann of Plymouth; a daughter Jane Thompson of Palmyra; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, March 20th at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. A graveside committal service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 21st, at the family lot, Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Timothy Boone officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
