JUNE R. CAYER
NEWPORT—June R. Cayer, 85, died March 17, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1923 in Tupper Lake, NY, a daughter of Patrick and Carolyn (Leonard) Curran. She graduated from Newburyport High School in Newburyport, MA.

June is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Cayer, Sr. of Newport; a son, “Rick” Cayer, Jr. and wife Lynda of Palmyra; a daughter, Deborah Pereira and husband Wayne of Steep Falls; 2 brothers, Michael Curran and wife Frances of Newburyport, MA and Stephen Curran and wife Sally of South Carolina; 2 sisters, Patricia Messenger of Newburyport, MA and Barbara Braunstein and husband Stan of Sun City, AZ; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter. There will be no services.
