KARLA R. MAHULL
MILO - Karla R. Mahull, 58, wife of the late Michael Mahull, died March 9, 2002, at her home, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Passaic, N.J., the daughter of John and Ruth (Mackulik) Kuhn. Karla had graduated in 1961 from DePaul Catholic High School, Wayne, N.J., where she was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at the State Farm regional office in Wayne. In 1982, the family moved to Maine to enjoy Michael's retirement. Karla enjoyed refunding, shopping, and traveling. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Milo. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Michael Mahull, who died Feb. 5, 2000. In addition to her mother, Ruth Sarlo of Lavallette, N.J.; she is survived by two daughters, Jackie Whitney, Maureen Bowden and husband, Daren, all of Milo; a son, Thomas Mahull of Delray Beach, Fla.; five beloved grandchildren, Michael, Cheryl, Christina, Brooke and Erica.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Milo, with Fr. James Robichaud celebrant. A spring interment will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Milo.
