LAWRENCE H. METIVIER
CORINNA Lawrence H. Metivier, 74, died January 10, 2002 at his Stetson Road residence. He was born February 27, 1927 at Corinna the son of Lawrence E. and Hazel (Rowe) Metivier. He attended Corinna Union Academy. Larry served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, and later made the Navy his career retiring as a Petty Officer, First Class.

He is survived by his son Lawrence E. Metivier of West Chester, PA; 3 daughters, Lorraine Malec of Norfolk, VA, Lorna Slifer of Philadelphia, PA, and Laura Presley of Missouri; as well as a devoted step-daughter who has cared for him, Diana Flood of Corinna; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline in 1993.

He will be laid to rest with his wife in Stetson privately, and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, Corinna.
