LEON M. "SONNY" EASLER, JR.
PARKMAN, Leon M. “Sonny” Easler, Jr. 76, died October 13, 2002, at his home in Parkman. He was born March 31, 1926, in Sangerville, son of Leon and Marian (Pearl) Easler Sr. He served in the US Army during WWII. Following the war he worked for Guilford Industries in Guilford and later for Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Luella (Currier) Easler of Parkman; six children, Timothy and his wife, Carol of Sangerville, Sally Englehardt of Dexter, Alice Easler and Jack Mills of Farmington, Judy Bard of Milo, Dwight and Barb Easler of Abbot, Sunnie and Paul Westberry of Sangerville; a sister, Hattie Burton of Monson and a special brother, Lawrence Easler of Parkman; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford.Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home, with burial in the Pingree Center Cemetery in Parkman.
