GUILFORD AND SANGERVILLE, Leone M. Huff, 95, died March 31, 2001 at a Greenville nursing home. She was born September 5, 1905 in Ft. Kent, daughter of Joseph and Martha (Albert) Babin. She graduated from the Madawaska Training School in Ft Kent, Presque Isle Normal School and then from Castine Normal School. She taught school in her younger years and later worked at Hardwood Products in Guilford for over 40 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville and a member of the Catholic Ladies Club. She was proud to be a member of the Maine and National Teacher's Associations. She was so appreciative of her friends and neighbors who helped make it possible for her to live alone for so many years.

She is survived by three sons and their wives, Duane and Kathy Huff of Guilford and Florida, Wayne and Melanie Huff of Monson, and Dale and Ann Huff of Millinocket and Abbot Village; a sister, Helen Klemek of Ohio; a brother, Wilfred Babin of Monson; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a cousin, Corinne Bearce of Dover-Foxcroft; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Orman Huff; a sister, Verna; a brother, Lawrence; and a grandson, Doug.

Friends may call 7-9 PM Thursday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM Friday, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville with Fr. James Robichaud officiating. Spring burial will be in the Rural Grove Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to the Catholic Ladies Club, c/o Martha Danforth, P.O.
