LESLIE D. WATSON Leslie had been employed at Baxter’s Canning Company in Hartland until it went out of business. He then worked at Irving Tannery in Hartland, and for 18 years was employed as a product manager for Bradford Industries in Lowell, MA until his retirement. Following retirement, he liked to hunt and fish and had great stories to tell of his “BIG” catch. He loved it when he could take his grandsons Curtis and Colby with him. He is survived by his wife Tonya (Woodman) Watson of Newport; 2 sons, Wayne and wife Melissa Watson of Newport and Stephen Watson of Roslindale, MA; stepson, Brian Weymouth of Manchester, NH; a brother, Ronald Watson of Hartland; a sister, Jacqueline and husband William Watts of Point, TX; 3 grandsons, Colby, Curtis and Kyle; and a step granddaughter, Brandi; nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by a son, Michael. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, April 21st at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport.
