LESLIE J. MCKENZIE He worked for many years as a woodsman and later for Guilford Woolen Mill. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time reading his Bible and witnessing to others. Leslie was a family man and loved having his family around. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine (Davis) McKenzie of Parkman; 4 sons, Randy McKenzie and his wife, Nannette of Parkman, Kerry McKenzie and his wife, Lucy of Abbot, Chucky McKenzie of Bedford, NH, and Scott McKenzie and his wife, Minako of Charleston; 3 daughters, Valerie McKenzie of Harmony, Terry Pavao of Michigan, and Melanie Bachelder of Parkman; 3 brothers, Robert McKenzie and his wife, Cindi of Brownville, Sheridan McKenzie and his wife, Pat of Brownville, and Kenney McKenzie and his wife, Lori of Brownville; 4 sisters, Emaline Hawthone of McAdam, NB, Sharon Newbert of Brownville, Glenda Heal and her husband, Parker of Brownville, and Janice Heal and her husband, Brian of Milo; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Luanne; a sister, Bonita Astle; and a grandson, Jacque McKenzie. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Harmony Baptist Church, with Pastor Henry Thibodaux officiating. Friends may call at the church from 2 PM, until the time of the service. Burial will be at the Pingree Center Cemetery in Parkman, followed by a reception at the Harmony church.
