OBITUARIES

LINDLEY L. ROBINSON
NEWPORT & PLYMOUTH - Lindley L. Robinson, 77, died February 20, 2007 at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 5, 1929 at Newport, a son of Wallace and Doris (Gray) Robinson. He was employed as a longhaul truck driver, retiring from Sawyer Environmental in 1995. Lindley was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and riding his ATV. He was a well known instigator and was not happy unless he was teasing someone.

He is survived by his wife, Janet (Condon) Robinson of Plymouth; a son, Dale and wife Sandra Chamberlain of Albion; 4 daughters, Lynn and husband David Temple of Detroit, Theresa Sudsbury of Guilford, Rae Jean and husband Clarence “Jim” Churchill of Pittsfield, and Carol Chamberlain of Etna; 3 grandchildren, Vicky Cochran, Paul Temple, and Mike Chamberlain; 3 great grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, and Page; many nieces and nephews; and many friends, including a special friend, Floyd “Fuzzy” Wilson. He was predeceased by his first wife, Vivian (Stuart) Robinson; a brother, Leroy; and 2 sisters, Marie Small and Ersel Lagasse.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, February 24th, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.

PLYMOUTH - Graveside committal services for Lindley L. Robinson, who died February 20, 2007, will be held 9 AM, Saturday, May 19th at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
