LISA JANE PHILLIPS
LISA JANE PHILLIPS GREENVILLE- Lisa Jane Phillips, 50, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on the morning of February 28, 2008 with her husband by her side. She was born on February 14, 1958 in Greenville, the daughter of Robert and Lucille (Lavigne) Thibeault.

Lisa graduated from Greenville High School, class of 1975. Lisa’s favorite job was being a homemaker; she excelled in everything she did including dog grooming, cooking at local restaurants and was currently employed at Comstock Woodlands as the head chef. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, braiding rugs, spending time with her family and praising our Lord through music at local nursing homes and churches. Lisa enjoyed attending the Evangelical Free Church in Abbot where she was an intricate part of the prayer team and helped lead a Saturday night prayer and worship service.

Lisa was well known for her faith in Christ, and her intimate relationship with Him. Her life was centered around Christ, and never second guessed who she was in Him.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Phillips; her mother, Lucille Thibeault; three daughters, Teresa and her husband, Roger Young, Maranda and her husband, Justin Thomas, all of Greenville, and Andrea and her husband, Michael Willette of Norfolk, VA; three brothers, Robert Thibeault of Greenville, Michael and his wife, Kathy Thibeault, of Letart, West Virginia, and Donald Thibeault of Jackman; grandchildren, Brittany, Candace, Jacob, Isaiah, Nathan, Malachi, Leah, and she was expecting her eighth grandchild in April. She is also survived by close friends, Ray & Betty Beless, John & Wendy Pullen, Kirk & Linda Hamilton, many aunts, uncles, relatives and special friends. Lisa was pre-deceased by her father, Joseph Adrian Robert Thibeault and her daughter, Leanna Sandlin.

Visitation will be held at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church, Monday, March 3, 2008, from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1 PM Tuesday, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Spring burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
