LOUIS F. BOSCO
RIPLEY, Louis F. Bosco, 71, passed away peacefully at a Bangor hospital, Sept. 28, 2001, surrounded by family, following a brief illness. He was born April 23, 1930, in Hamden, CT., son of Frederick and Theresa Bosco. He was a carpenter all of his life and was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local #24 in Yalesville, CT. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Louis was an avid hunter, gun and snowmobile enthusiast, and was a member of the Snow Devil’s Club and the Trail Riders Club.

He is survived by his beloved and devoted companion, Marjorie Deering of Ripley; two loving daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Robert Germain and Marcia and David Gade, and a son, Richard Bosco; grandchildren, Robert and his wife, Leslie Germain, Terri L. Germain, Matthew Gade, Brandon Gade, Alyssa Gade all of Conneticut. Also survived by Marjorie’s children, Bruce and his wife, Genie Deering, Kim and her husband, Andy Conway, Tammy and her husband, Rick Sherburne; grandchildren, Barry, Tabbi, Liza, Adam, Jordan, Sasha, Whitney, Jake, Bernie and Joel; great grandchildren, Mathison and KayLee all of Ripley.

Family and friends may call 9-10 AM Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter, where funeral services will follow at 10AM. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday Oct. 2, 2001 at the Ferndale Cemetery in Ripley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his memory to the charity of your choice.
