LOUISE K. SMITH
DEXTER, Louise K. Smith, 90, died January 29, 2003, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born in Sangerville, May 16, 1912, daughter of George and Jennie (Lowell) Fillmore. She worked at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna for 22 years and Louise belonged to the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband, Reuben W. Smith; a son, Colin W. Smith, and a daughter, Marlene Murray.

She is survived by a son, Floyd Smith of California; two daughters, Marjorie and her husband, Galen Clukey of Dexter and Marion Meierdirk of Bangor; a sister, Grace Cochran of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Sprague of Delaware; a son-in-law, Darrell Murray of Dexter; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Ethelyn Smith of New Hampshire.

Graveside committal services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the First Free Baptist Church, 130 Spring Street, Dexter, ME 04930. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
