MAE E. RACE
ABBOT, Mae E. Race, 93, died June 7, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born October 7, 1908 in Abbot, daughter of Harry and Petra Kirk. She was self-employed as a seamstress for many years.

She is survived by a son, Alden Race of Abbot; 2 brothers, Harland E. Kirk of Edmonds, Washington and Ervin L. Kirk of Abbot; a sister, Zelda Richards of Abbot; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Glen A. Race in 1951.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM Saturday June 22, 2002, at the Abbot Village Cemetery. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
