MARGARET M. DeLACEY
NEWPORT—Margaret M. DeLacey, 96, died April 21, 2006 at a Pittsfield health care facility. She was born June 24, 1909 at Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Lee) Phillips. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Brooklyn and was employed as a bookkeeper at McGraw-Hill Publishing Company in New York City. Margaret was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Pittsfield.

She is survived by her son-in-law, J. Paul Hoffman of Newport; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Margaret Hoffman in 1998.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, April 25th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Iheaka officiating.
