MARIE A. FERNALD
NEWPORT Marie (Booth) Fernald, 68, died unexpectedly January 2, 2002 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born October 27, 1933 at Newport the daughter of Edwin and Muriel (Palmer) Booth. She was a graduate of Newport High School, Class of 1952.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sue McKenney of Corinna and Jane Fernald of Newport; 2 brothers, Gerald Booth of Palmyra and William Booth of Pittsfield; a sister Virene DeBeck of Skowhegan; a grand-daughter Danielle McKenney of Corinna; and several nephews.

Friends may call 2-4 P.M. Saturday, January 5th, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating.
