Marie Anna Boucher
GREENVILLE, Marie Anna Boucher, 104, our mom and memere and Greenville's oldest resident and recipient of the Gold Cane, died on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at C.A. Dean Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Marie was born September 7, 1909 in St. Benoit, Quebec, Canada, and settled in Greenville with her family in June 1951.

She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville. In the late 50's she was employed at the Log Cabin Restaurant and later in the early 60's worked at C.A. Dean Hospital in the Housekeeping Dept. until her retirement.

She is survived by one son, Louis and his wife Hedwidge Boucher; seven daughters, Louisiane Blanchet, Doris Belmont, Gisele Mathieu, Simone and Mickey Squiers, Rachel and Glenn Hayes, Yolande Graham, and Jeannine Plourde; 29 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by five brothers and six sisters; her husband, Auguste Boucher; five sons-in-law, Lionel Blanchett, George Belmont, Alfred Mathieu, Dennis Graham, George Plourde; and one grandson, Kevin Hayes.

Visiting hours will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Crosby & Neal Greenville Chapel, located at the Masonic Hall on Pritham Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville, with Rev. Fr. Kevin Martin celebrant. Interment will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Holy Family Catholic Church, 145 Pritham Ave., PO Box 457, Greenville, ME 04441-0457.
