MARIE L. BRAGG
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Marie L. Bragg, 69, wife of Richard B. Bragg, died June 18, 2002, at Mayo Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Dexter, Sept. 19, 1932, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Avery) Tyler. Marie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 4298 in Dexter, a member of the Ripley Grange, the Acme Snowshoe Club in Lewiston, and was a former business owner. Later in life, she worked as a CNA at the Dexter Nursing Home. She finished her working career as a traffic flagger employed by Central Maine Paving.

She is survived by her husband, Richard B. Bragg of Dover-Foxcroft; stepchildren, Donald Bragg of Garland, and Rhonda Bragg of Bradley; her children, David Nickerson of California, Gloria Girardin of Litch-field, Diane Lessard and Steven LaFrance, both of Dexter; her grandchildren, Anita LeClair of Litchfield, Keith Doyon of Lewiston, and Michelle Bruce of Dexter; stepgrandchildren, Randy Lessard and Paul Lessard; great-grandchildren, Tori and Lauren Bruce, and Noah LeClair; and great-stepgrandchildren, Chelsea and Brock Lessard and Kebrina LeClair. Marie is also survived by her brothers, Arthur Tyler and wife, Nancy of St. Albans, Fred Tyler and wife, Virginia of Cambridge, Reginald Tyler and wife, Margret of Brooks; her half brothers, Fred Tyler, Gary Tyler, and William Tyler, all of Florida; her aunt, Ruby (Avery) Towle; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of 40 years, Emile E. LaFrance, and her nephew, Arthur Tyler Jr.

Marie's Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002, at VFW Post No. 4298 on Cedar Street in Dexter.
