MARTHA A. PATTERSON
NEWPORT - Martha A. Patterson, 58, died January 24, 2005 at a Bangor hospital. She was born September 5, 1946 at Glens Falls, New York a daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Ryder) Dill. She was a member of the People’s United Methodist Church in Newport, and the Sebasticook Valley Garden Club. Martha owned and operated “Salads By Martha” for a number of years, from which she sold and distributed her own recipe of homemade macaroni and potato salads to area supermarkets and restaurants.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David R. Patterson of Newport; 2 sons, Terrance and wife Lisa Patterson of Kalida, OH, Aaron and wife Kimberly Patterson of Lafayette, IN; a brother, Fred Dill of Trenton, FL; 2 sisters, Marsha Verhille of Zephyrhills, FL., and Phyllis Dort of Windsor; 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Gregory, and Matthew.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Friday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, January 29th, with the Rev. Bruce Hudson officiating.
