MICHAEL STEVEN GIBBS
NEWPORT, ME AND LAS VEGAS, NV, Michael Steven Gibbs, 33, died unexpectedly, September 1, 2006, as a result of a traffic accident in Las Vegas. He was born in Lewiston, January 26, 1973, son of Michael D. Gibbs of S.C. and Alice (Stevens) Gibbs of Dexter. Michael graduated from Nokomis Regional High School, class of 1991. Most recently he lived and worked in Las Vegas. Michael will be remembered for his big heart, easy smile, carefree nature, and his love for friends, and family, especially his aunts. Michael was predeceased by his sister, Melissa Ann Gibbs and his maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his mother; father; sister, Rebecca Gibbs of Ohio; paternal grandparents, Dale and Doris Gibbs of MO; and a large circle of extended family and friends.

A celebration of his life will held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street in Dexter, with Pastor Robert DeLion officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. A private family interment will be held in Bowdoinham at a later date.
