MICHAEL WAYNE LUELLEN
CAMBRIDGE – Michael Wayne Luellen, 51, died January 7, 2011 at a Bangor hospital. He was born February 12, 1959 a son of Jack and Rebecca (Box) Luellen. He graduated from Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, Class of 1977, and served in the U. S. Air Force for 3 years. He worked for the United States Postal Service for many years. Mike was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and coached pee wee baseball. He was a member of the Exeter Full Gospel Church, and had been a deacon and youth pastor at Dexter Pentecostal Church. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and was an amateur radio operator (WB1FXN). He also had a love for woodworking.

He is survived by his parents, the Rev. Sky and Jackie Burrill of Charleston; his father and wife Jack and Jill Luellen of CA; his wife, Linda (Speed) Luellen of Cambridge; 2 sons, Johnathan and wife Greta of Hampden, Joshua and wife Erin of Chesapeake, VA; a daughter, Christina Small of Hampden; 2 half brothers, Jason of CA, and Randy of CO; 3 half sisters, Cecelia Burrill of CA, Sonja and husband David Weiss of CA, Shelley and husband George Esquivel of CA; 5 grandchildren, Gavin, Liberty, Emma, and Zachary Small, and Miles Luellen; and a special friend who was like a daughter to Mike and Linda, Natalie Little.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Peter Gonnella and nurse, Christine Fontaine at the VA Hospital in Togus for the wonderful care that Mike received.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Charleston Pentecostal Church, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 12th, with the Revs. Sky Burrill and Chris Faloon officiating.
