DOVER-FOXCROFT - Nellie Ceballos Fox, 36, died June 13, 2000, after a long and hard struggle with a terminal illness. She was born Aug. 18, 1963, in Manhattan, N.Y., the daughter of Carlos and Maria Ceballos. Nellie was a strong woman of faith, who took all that life gave her and allowed the Lord to lead her. She was a devoted mom who put all her energy into raising her children. Nellie's love and devotion was a source of strength to her brother and sisters. Everyone who came in contact with Nellie walked away with a better understanding of faith and determination.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Maria Periera of East Corinth and Kathleen Theresa Fox of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Gabriel Patrick Fox of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother, Joel Ceballos of Pembroke Pines, Fla. and a sister, Nereida Ceballos of Reading, Pa.; nieces, Chasity, Allison and Janell; nephews, Anthony, Brandon, Carlos and Michael. She will also be missed by special friends, Ernest and Mona Jean Philbrick and their family, of Corinth; Nicole of Old Town; the Glad Tidings Church family; the Living Word Assembly of God Church family. She will be especially missed by Jay and Maria Philbrick of E. Corinth, who were of great help to Nellie in her last days. Nellie was predeceased by her sister, Loyda Ceballos, Jan. 10, 1995; and by her parents, Carlos and Maria Ceballos in 1993.

Friends are invited to call from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2000, at the Living Word Assembly of God Church, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Thomas Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery following the service. Contributions in Nellie's memory to benefit her family, may be sent to Pastor Tom Bruce, care of Living Word Assembly of God Church, 66 East Main St., Dover-Foxcroft 04426. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
