PAMELA M. ALLEN
ROCKWOOD & HAMPDEN – Pamela (McIver) Allen, 62, died unexpectedly March 7, 2009 at a Bangor hospital. She was born November 30, 1946 in Greenville, a daughter of Omar and Rose Anne (Deveux) McIver.

She graduated from Greenville High School and attended the University of Massachusetts at Springfield. She worked as a head start teacher in Greenville for a number of years, worked as a secretary for Telford Aviation, which her family owns, and was President of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Greenville Garden Club, Historical Society and the Moosehead Lake Yacht Club. Pamela will be remembered for her love of her grandchildren, animals and area wildlife.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Telford Allen, Jr. of Rockwood and Hampden; 2 sons, Telford III and wife Karen, and Travis Allen, all of Hampden; 2 brothers, John and wife Brenda McIver of Greenville, Jeff and wife Nancy McIver of Holderness, NH; 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett, Kaytlin, Ashton, and Erica Rose; as well as her beloved companion, Gizmo.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Friday at Crosby & Neal, (located at the Masonic Hall), 281 Pritham Avenue, Greenville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, March 14th, at Holy Family Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Father Richard Malo and the Rev. Robert Bryant officiating.
