PETER G. JOHNSTON
PARKMAN, Peter G. Johnston, 17, went home to be with the Lord, February 29, 2004 in Parkman. He was born December 31, 1986, in Columbia, South Carolina, the son of John and Cynthia (Hackmann) Johnston. Peter was home schooled and took classes at Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford where he was also captain of the PCHS Ski Team. He was a member of the Abbot Evangelical Free Church, and was a Sunday School teacher. Over the past couple of years he has taken mission trips to Haiti and to Eritrea.

He is survived by his parents of Parkman; 5 brothers, Michael, Brian, Nathan, Paul, and Timothy; 2 sisters, Christine Bingler and Amanda; a niece, Hannah Bingler; maternal grandparents David and Barbara Hackmann of Parkman; paternal grandparents, John and Lucille Johnston of Belle Plaine, Iowa.

Friends may call 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. A Memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church in Abbot with Rev. Ray Beless officiating.
