CORINNA , Phillip Erwin White, Sr., 66, died Sept. 3, 2001 at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born Dec. 7, 1934, in Milo, son of Stanley and Avis (Hoskins) White, Sr. After a stint in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, he worked in the woods, in Real Estate and was well known for the area homes that he built. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patricia (Roberts) White of Corinna; two sons, Phillip E. White Jr and his wife, Karen of Somerset, Mass. and Daniel T. White of Plymouth; a daughter, Teresa M. White of Newport; a brother, Stanley White Jr. and his wife Marion of Dexter; two sisters, Clara Lindsay of Dexter and Nancy Provost of Garland; five grandchildren, a step granddaughter, and a great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marion Murray.

A Memorial service will be held 2 PM Sat. at the First Universalist Church of Dexter with the Rev. Dr. Alec Craig officiating. Burial will be in the Corinna Center Cemetery in Corinna. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Polycystic Kidney Research Foundation, 4901 Main St., Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64112-2634.
