DETROIT - Phillip F. Walker, 47, died February 13, 2001 in Pittsfield surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 15, 1953 at Hartland, the son of Frank and Elva (Russell) Walker. He graduated from Mt. View High School in Thorndike, Class of 1973. He was employed at Detroit Salvage until his retirement due to failing health.

He is survived by a son, Leon and his wife, Jessie Walker; a daughter, Angela and her husband, Clint King, all of Pittsfield; 5 brothers, Gerald and his wife, June Walker of Kittery, Raymond Eldridge of Stetson, Michael and his wife, Glenis Walker and Robin Walker, all of Plymouth, Dale and his wife, Liana Walker of Troy; a sister, Anita and her husband, Ron Latham of Plymouth; 2 grandsons, Clint King and Dillon Walker; a granddaughter, Amber King; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6- 8 P.M. Thursday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 A.M, Friday, February 16th with the Rev. William Johnson officiating. Spring burial will be in Rogers Cemetery, Troy. Donations may be madein his memory to the American Cancer Society, 52 Federal Street, Brunswick, ME 04011.
