PHYLLIS E. COLLINS
PALMYRA & UNITY – Phyllis E. Collins, 76, died February 11, 2005 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born December 20, 1928 at Saugus, Mass. a daughter of Frederick and Edith (Coates) Pendergrace. She worked for many years as a department store sales clerk.

Phyllis is survived by 3 sons, Russell Cahill of Palmyra, Judson McCarthy of Texas, and Christopher McCarthy of Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 7 nieces and 2 nephews.

A spring graveside committal service will be held at the family lot, Palmyra Village Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronald Parker officiating. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
