RALPH E. ROLLINS
GARLAND - Ralph Ernest Rollins, 64, died unexpectedly August 12, 2002 at his home. He was born April 13, 1938 at Garland a son of Fred and Charlotte (Lowell) Rollins. He attended Garland and Dexter schools, and was the fifth generation to carry on the family farm and orchards in Garland. Ralph was a member of the Garland Grange, where he held many offices. He was a charter member of the Garland Fire Department, and also belonged to the Maine Farm Bureau and the Maine Pomological Society.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jean (Fern) Rollins, his son Ernest and wife Andrea, all of Garland; his sisters, Carol Rollins, Sandra and husband James Thomas all of Garland, Jeanne "Shirley" and husband Norman Gould of Wilton; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, August 15th. Burial will be in West Garland Cemetery.
