REGINALD E. STROUT, JR.
CUMBERLAND & CARMEL - Reginald E. Strout, Jr., 67, died December 3, 2008 at a Scarborough hospice. He was born March 11, 1941 in Bangor, the son of Reginald and Helen (St. Louis) Strout, Sr. He graduated in 1959 from Carmel High School and was a state champion basketball player and baseball pitcher. He married Sandra Shaw December 16, 1961. Reggie retired as warehouse manager at Portland Rubber Company.

In addition to his mother of Carmel and his wife of Cumberland, he is survived by a son, Reginald III and his wife Melody Strout of Gilford, NH: a daughter Michele and husband Michael Phillips of Hermon; 3 grandchildren, Shae Jones, Joshua Phillips and Sydney Strout.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 8th, at Crosby & Neal, Newport, with Pastor Josh Damon officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Etna. Those who wish may sign an online guest register and leave written tributes at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
